In Too Deep by Jude Watson *****

This book is a good book. Amy and Dan's maze has started again, this time Amy finds secrets that she wont share, now both of their lives are at risk. As Amy finds the biggest secret of her life, she is being separated from her brother. What will happen to them now as their enemy's circle around them closer and closer every second, how much will Amy do to protect Dan? This book starts off in Australia, where they are following their parents trail in the game. They stay at their uncle's house. And meets her biggest enemy of all, Isabel Kabra. Isabel tries really hard to kill Amy and Dan. But she fails. They find the clue in Indonesia after thinking hard.

The best part was when they were talking about the Krakatau explosion, Watson described it in extensive details.

Dog Days by Jeff Kinney ****

Funny book, it is a book about Greg Heffley. In this book Rowley and him aren't friends anymore because Greg kept ordering food using Rowley's dad's credit card, so his dad said that they have to earn the money and pay him back. But Rowley kept having ideas that Greg didn't like, so they started staying away from each other. This book is basically about his summer and how he developes friendship. It was an OK book, it could have been better.

The Black Circle by Patrick Carman *

The clue hunt continues, Dan and Amy have to go to Russia to find the next clue. They follow the steps of Rasputin, a king in Russia a long time ago. And someone is helping them find the clue. They don't know who, but they do know that the person's initials are N.R.R, the clue is hidden in the Amber Room. Which is in the palace where Rasputin's brother died. They go there and they meet N.R.R, she is the royal queen Nataliya, she sends them to the palace and they find the clue. The clue is half a gram of melted amber. My favorite part is when they go in the helicopter at 300 MPH.

Beyond The Grave by Jude Watson ***

This is an OK book, it could have been done better. It is about Dan and Amy, and they continue their journey of the 39 clues. In this book they have to go to Egypt. The stay in a hotel, and then they find out that the hotel is the Ekaterina stronghold. They find a secret room, and then they see 3 statues, they are of the egyptian god Sakhet. They look around, and this evil guy named Bae trap them inside a cube. He leaves them alone, and then Dan's babysitter frees them. They go downstairs and they are being chased by Bae's troops, but suddenly, a car rolls up and tells them to get in. They go in, and they meet one of thier grandmother's friend. She gives them a bok, they open it, and they find the Egyptian god Sakhet. They turn the statue's head, and a paper pop's out. It says that they have to go to Aswan. They go there and they find out that the clue is underwater. They go underwater with a submarine and they get hit by currents. But later on they find out the clue is Myrhh :), the best part is when they go underwater, everything is brown and disgusting, and then they see a pillar underwater, and the clue is written on it.

The Last Straw by Jeff Kinney *

This is the second last book about Greg. In this book Greg is in school. He has a problem, he likes one girl and there is a dance coming up, and he is thinking of asking her. But of course he doesn't ask and he misses his chance. And then valentines day comes up, and people are supposed to give each other cards. Greg gets a card from the girl he likes and it says to keep in touch. And the Greg's Best Friend gets a card that has a way better message on it, it says to stay cute, so Greg is jealous. And he writes a note to the girl as his best friend, and he says they will never be together. But at the end of the book a new girl comes named Trista, and Greg likes her now. I had no favorite part.

Wolf Island by Darren Shan *****

This book is about Grubbs Grady, this is the book after Death's Shadow. In this Grubbs creates an army of a dozen people, to catch the lambs. But they realize that they have been tricked by the CEO of the lambs, the have called Juni Swan to attack them. In this book Grubbs turns into a werewolf, and he finnaly feels free! But he is a mix of human and werewolf, he says that this is what he needed to be, he is going to live his perfect life now. Before he turns, he goes to this place called wolf island, where they are holding wolfs for hostage. He goes there and the wolves attack him and his army. Eight die, four stay alive. They fight the wolves away, but then Juni Swan comes and attacks Grubbs by herself, without anyone. She was going to kill him but then she got a vision, she said that Grubbs will end the world, destroy every universe, and everything will end. Great book, read it. My favorite part is when Grubbs is changing, it says he goes still and is throwing up on the floor, and then hairs start tlo grow on him, and after a second, he is a wolf.

Rodrick Rules by Jeff Kinney *****

This book is the sequel to Diary of a Wimpy Kid, it is about Greg, and he has a really big secret. Rodrick knows it, and Greg is scared that Rodrick will tell everyone, this is also about Greg and Rodrick's fights, and if Greg pushes Rodrick to the limit, you know what Rodrick would do. The big secret was that, over the summer, Greg had to stay at his grand-pa's condo, and there he accidentally went into the girls toilet, and he had to wait until all the girls went out of the toilet, then he could go out without being seen, and of course, he had to stay there for 4 hours, and he eventually got caught.

My favorite part of the book is when he has to wait in the toilet, girls keep coming in and putting the make up and stuff on, and he is getting really annoyed!

The Sword Thief by Peter Lerangis

Dan and Amy are continuing their adventure, this time they go to Tokyo, where they are trapped by their enemies, and later they team up with them and their uncle. they know where the next clue is, in Korea, they go there, they find little hints around the place and they finally find the clue under some rocks, their enemies betray them, they think they have the clue, but they don't, Dan and Amy tricked them and is leading them the wrong way, in this book their uncle "dies", but he doesn't, he fakes his death and is still in the competition, their next clue is in Al Sakhet, which is in Egypt, they go, their and the journey will continue. My favorite part is when their uncle "dies", he acted pretty well, and he mad Dan and Amy believe it, but at the end they find out, that he faked it.Great book.

One False Note by Gordon Korman *****

This is the 2nd book of the 39 clues series, it has the same characters, Amy and Dan, they continue their hunt to find the clues, and they go to Venice. In Venice they find that everyone is there too, and then they find a homing device on their cat' collar. They put it on one of of the other people in the competition. They come across the 3rd clue, the first one meant Iron Solute, the second one meant Tungsten, the 39 clues is a formula, each clue gives an ingredient to the formula. They ind out that the 3rd clue is hidden in Tokyo, so they have to go there, and the story will continue in the 3rd book.

My favorite part is when they have to run from the monks because they stole their paper, the monks were running after them like crazy, but then Amy and Dan find out that they didnt need the paper so they give it back. This is a pretty good book, but it gets confusing sometimes.

Night of The Living Dummy 2 by R.L Stine *****

This book is about a girl named Amy, her family is talented, but she isnt. Her sister is a good painter, her brother is good at telling jokes.... but she isnt good at anything. So she starts playing with dummies, she has one, and his name is Dennis, but he is kind of broken, his head keeps falling off, Amy wants a new one. Then her dad got her a new one........ thats when the trouble began. His name was Slappy, as she bought it, there as a paper inside the dummy, it had a few wierd words on it, and Amy said them. Then, Slappy came alive, he was doing bad things to Amy, but when she tells her family, they dont beleive her. So she needed proof, so one night she made her parents sit in the closet and watch. Slappy came running out and as painting the walls. Then her amily believed her.

My favorite part is when Slappy was fighting Amy, it was like they were killing each other, Slappy was choking Amy, Amy as choking Slappy, it was quiet an awesome scene.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid by Jeff Kinney *****

This book is about a boy named Greg, who is now starting middle school, and he realizes that everything has changed, changing classes, its a little more harder. This is his journal, which is like a diary, and it tells you about his life in 6th grade. He has a best friend, his name is Rowley, he acts like a kid, like one day he asked Greg if he wants to got to his house and play, and Greg says in middle school you are supposed to say hang of instead of play. This book shows how he lives his life, and it also shows the trouble he is causing. My favorite part is when Greg breaks Rowley's arm, so what happened is that Rowley bought Greg a 3 wheeler bike, and Greg hates it, but it came to use. They made a game in which the objective is to knock the rider off the bike. So it starts like this, Rowley has to ride the bike down a steep hill, and Greg will be waiting on the sidewalk and he will try to know Rowley off the bike with a football, the mistake he makes is that he hits Rowley in the head, Rowley falls off, and he lands straight on his arm, and he brakes it. But Rowley is getting all the attention in the school, because he broke his arm and people want to sign his cast. But Greg hates the attention Rowley is getting. Its a good book. READ IT!

The Maze of Bones by Rick Riordan *****

This is a great book, it is about a boy and a girl named Dan and Amy, they are two kids that parents just died, and their favorite grandmother, Grace, just died too, they go to her funeral and they were told to go to a mission with 39 clues. They were given the first clue, and in that it said to follow Benjamin Franklin's steps, so they go to Philadelphia and Paris, and they look for clues, but unfortunately they were slowed down a little bit by bombs, this is a competition, so this means that they have other people against them. They keep trying fighting and then Amy and Dan find the other clue, and then they find out they have to go to Vienna, Austria. They start their journey and it will continue in the next book!

The best part is when they go to the maze and they find all of those disgusting and smelly skeletons and other body parts. They said that is was really disgusting. The clue was hidden there, and they were looking for it, and then one of their enemies come and attack them, but they get the clue and get out of there. READ IT!

Death's Shadow by Darren Shan *****

Deaths Shadow is a very good book, it is one of the best books I have ever read, it is about a girl named Bec, who has benn dead for 1600 years, and her spirit went into another persons dead body, Bec was killed by Lord Loss, one of the masters of the Demonata universe, he is a a very strong demon, but now he is not the biggest threat to humanity, now there is another demon, with no name, and no one knows much about him, but have seen him, now he is the scariest demon in the world, and Bec is about to fight him. Bec has a friend, named Beranabus, he is half demon half human, and the new demon is immortal, it cant die, but we can make it go away, and the only way to do that is to fight, demon-demon, in the end Beranabus lets the demon take over in his body and fights the strong demon, but unfortunately, Beranabus dies. Later they find out that the Demon has a force, it is like gravity, but it isnt gravity. It is death. And nobody can kill death. It is a very good book, my suggestion is read it. My favorite part is when Beranabus dies, he was killed by deat, and he was hit by death, so that means he died. He let the demon in his body take over and turn into a demon. Beranabus was alive for 1600 years, because he is a demon, but he is now finnaly death.

Lord Loss by Darren Shan *****

This book is called Lord Loss, and it is the 1st book of the Demonata series, it's protagonist's name is Grubbs Grady, a boy who had just recently lost his parents and sister to demons. He is a scared boy, and was sent to a mental center, the people did not believe him about the demons, he had stayed in the mental center or months, until a man named Dervish came, and he claims to be Grubbs' uncle, and he knows about demons, the main demon is Lord Loss, and he is the antagonist, he killed Grubbs' parents. Grubbs' stayes is Dervish's house, and he meets his first friend, Bill-E, and Bill-E is kind of an orphan, his mom died and he never met his dad, but Bill-E thinks that Dervish is his dad, but Dervish is his uncle, Bill-E is Grubbs' half brother, Bill-E does not know, but he will find out soon. See, the problem is that most of the Grady's have a curse, they turn into werewolves when they are teens. Bill-E turns, Grubbs' is trying to turn him back, but there is only one way, you have to summon Lord Loss and challenge him to a chess match, and if the challenger wins, Lord Loss gets to cure the curse ofone person, he is very good chess player, but a few people have fought him. The rules of Lord Loss' chess games are like this, there are five games, the person who gets most wins win. There have to be two people, one will be playing, and one will have to fight Lord Loss' familiars until the winner is announced. The game started like this, Dervish plays, Grubbs fights, Dervish is playing well but he sees that Grubbs is almost dead, so they switch positions, the scores were 3-2, who do you think won? Grubbs won, and Bill-E gets cured, but there is a twist to the story, the challenger has to go and fight Lord Loss himself in the other universe, and if he wins, he gets to live his normal life again, but if he loses, he will die. Dervish went and survived, suprisingly, and everything lived happily ever after.......but the story continues in the second book! My favorite part is when Bill-E turns into the werewolf, when he is howling and crying. This book is not the best, but it is good.

Slawter by Darren Shan ****

This book is Slawter, the third book of the Demonata. It is about Grubbs again, and his uncle is invited to see the shooting of a horror movie called Slawter, but Slawter is about the habitat of real demons, and one of the main characters of the movie is Lord Loss. All of Grubbs' actor friends are getting killed one by one, and he is thinking "how is this happening" until he finds a real demon on set, then he knows whats happening. At the end shoot of the movie Lord Loss and his familiars attack everyone, killing and injuring everyone, but Grubbs has to save them, so Grubbs and his uncle start shooting blasts of magic at the demons, but people are still dying, so they make a barrier between the demons and humans, and they try getting everyone they can to the other side. But only 38 people are left, and Grubbs never forgets what happened. My favorite part is when Grubbs turns the light on and off by just looking at it. Read this book.

Demon Apocalypse by Darren Shan *********************************

This is Demon Apocolypse, the 6th book of the Demonata series. In this book Grubbs Grady, is a boy who knows magic, and he is on a plane with lord loss, and fights him, but Beranabus saves him, Beranabus is a magician, he is very good with magic, and he has a friend named Kernel Fleck, and the Demonata portal has been reopened, and Grubbs is trying to close it, so when he goes near the portal, he sees that demons are everywhere! And Lord Loss is between alk of them, he is controlling them, butwhen they go near the portal, they see a familiar face, Bec, Bec is there, she holds hands with grubbs and Kernel and forms a circle, they are all chanting the same spell and everything goes black, they find themself in the past. Beranabus says that this is the power of the Kah-Gash, which is a form that can destroy a universe, but it can be used for other things too, like time travel, so they are in the past, and now the demons are'nt there, so they have to stop the portal from re-opening, and Grubbs finds out that his little brother is the key to keep the portal open, that means he has to kill his little brother, he does it and stops it from reopening, but he is always sad, and Bec has taken over Grubbs' little brothers body, and now she is alive. My favorite part is when Beranabus flies. READ THIS BOOK!

Deadly! by Morris Glietzman and Paul Jennings .......*****

Deadly is a book about two people, they have different stories and they combine in the middle. One girls name is Amy, she is a girl that have just come back from boarding school, and Sprocket, who is just a lost boy who is just looking for his family. Amy thinks that her dad is sneaking off somewhere, so she follows him, and at where Amy ends up is a house, with a baby in it, and then some kids steal her baby. Sprocket wakes up in the forest, without any clothes, and he needs to go to the loo really bad. So when he goes, this kid comes up and starts picking at the poo and plays with it, then the kids friends come in a car, and another kid is driving it. All of the kids are now looking at the poo. They were looking for something in it and they did'nt find it, so they started running after sprocket, and he ends up in a nudist colony, and the nudist colony starts running after him, and then he realizes that his tummy is really hurting, so he needs to go to the loo again, and then Amy finds Sprocket, she asks for help to find the baby. And then they go this building, where Sprocket poos out thing blue marble thing. And then both of them look in a factory, where they see the kids, and the kids were talking like they were adults. They were drinking tea. And then they heard one of the kids say that the baby is in the main building. They go to the main building and they find the baby. And then they find one of the kids feeding tea to his dog, and the kid tells him that the tea keeps people young. And then Sprocket finds out that the blue marble, is the last tea seed. And then Sprocket goes to a place called the High Valley and finds his mom, but one of the kid sies by falling off a cliff. And Sprocket finds out that he is one member of the nudist family. My favorite part is when Sprocket's mom is a proffesional snowboarder and she is showing allk her tricks. This book is an amazing book!

Bec by Darren Shan........*****

The book's name is Bec and the character's name is Bec too. This book was set in Ireland, in the middle of the fifth century A.D, when St. Patrick was converting Ireland to Christianity. Bec is a girl who lives in a tribe, called the McConn, she had a trainer named Banba, who used to teach her magic, Bec is a priestess, she is a girl who uses magic to kill demons, heal people and attack. She is not actually from the McConn tribe, she is from the McGrigor. Her mother had dies and left her at the McConn area. She is very sad sometimes because she gets visions about her mother and her birth. She is a scared girl. She is also happy, when she defeats the deomns or when she is having fun with her friends. And then, this boy comes among her tribe who won't talk. Instead, he keeps saying 'run fast'. Then, Bec and a few members of her tribe, decide to follow where the boy goes. And then, they meet this guy named Drust, he says he's going on a quest, and he needed help, so he sent the little boy (Bran) to bring them for help. He says he needs to stop the portal of the Demonata. The demonata is a different universe which has alot of demons in it. These demons try crossing the portal between Earth and the Demonata Universe. As they go looking for the portal, two of the tribe members, die by getting tricked by demons. Once they reach the portal, three more tribe members die. Drust tells Bec that she needs to be killed to stop the demons from breaking through the portal. Instead, Bran kills Drust because Bran wouldn't let Drust kill Bec. The portal closes, and Bec gets stuck inside the portal. Bec dies. My favorite part of the book is when the tribe first fight the demons and when Bec heals everyone by her magic. This book is one of the best books i have ever read.

The Last Olympian......by Rick Riordan rating-*****

This is one of the best books i have ever read. This is the fifth and last book of the Percy Jackson series, it is about this boy named Percy Jackson, who's dad is a greek god named Poseidon, Posiedon is the god of water, he controls and lives in the ocean, and Percy's mom, is just an ordinary person, who is about to get married to another guy named Paul Blofis. The propblem in the story is that Kronos (the evil god and titan of time) is rising again, after being cut up by his son, which is Zeus, the lord of the sky. Zues is Posiedon's brother. It is the prophecy that told percy that he is the one who has to make the biggest decision in he world, to save the world or to destroy it. Of course he saves the world. Kronos has taken over one of Percy's enemies. His enemy has to fight out Kronos' spirit and save himself, but he cant so he has to kill himself to kill Kronos. So the decision was that if percy will give a sword to his enemy so hell will kill himself or not. The book was a very very good book. I would rate it 5 stars. Its just another great book by Rick Riordan.
